mission statement

Dedicated Volunteers .....
who believe that Lake Fayetteville is vulnerable to a wide variety of nonpoint source pollutants impacting our water quality.

Committed to making a difference .....

the partnership was formed in 2001 from a group of interested stakeholders that wanted to take care of Lake Fayetteville and its watershed for future generations.

The Lake Fayetteville Watershed is a special place that is .....

- approximately 10 square miles of land and water

- located in the cities of Fayetteville and Springdale
- a subwatershed of the Illinois River Watershed

To promote, preserve, and enhance the integrity of the Lake Fayetteville Watershed through scientific evaluation, educational programs, and voluntary cooperation.
